Visiting Whistler from abroad

Whistler is a mountain resort town in British Columbia, Canada. It's a popular destination for winter sports, with the ski slopes of Blackcomb Mountain and the alpine skiing area of Whistler Mountain. It's also a very scenic place to visit in the summer, with plenty of hiking and biking trails.

You’ll need a passport.

If you are travelling to Canada from a country outside of the U.S., you will need a valid passport. You may also need a visa or other documentation depending on your nationality. If you're visiting from Spain, for example, you'll need a Canadian visa. You can apply for one at the Canadian embassy in Madrid (Spain).

If you’re coming from Spain, you’ll need a passport to enter Canada. Get one before you leave. You can also get a Canadian visa but it will take more time. If you're coming from the U.S., you'll need a passport or a NEXUS card.

You’ll need a visa.

You need to get a visitor visa before you fly to Canada. You can apply for a visitor visa online at the Canadian government's website. You will need to provide your passport, travel itinerary, and information about where you are staying in Canada. You will also need to pay a $100 visitor visa fee.

The good news is that Canadians are very welcoming and will do their best to help you with all the paperwork. But you'll need a visa, which you can get in your home country or at the airport when you land. You can also apply for a temporary resident permit (TRP) if you're planning to stay for six months or less. The cost of the TRP is $200 and it's valid for six months from the date of issue. If you're staying for more than six months, you'll need to apply for a work permit, which will cost another $200.

You’ll need to make reservations.

It’s not a bad idea to make reservations for a hotel or ski rental in Whistler. The town is popular with tourists, and it can be difficult to find a place to stay. You can also make reservations for ski rentals ahead of time. This way, you won’t have to worry about waiting in line to rent equipment while you’re on vacation.

If you want to visit Whistler, you’ll need to make reservations for the bus or train, and for your hotel. You can also book a hotel in advance. If you’re coming from Spain, you’ll need to make sure that your passport is valid. You’ll also need to have enough money for the trip and to cover any expenses when you get there, like meals and souvenirs.

You’ll need to pack your clothes and gear.

The first thing you need to do is pack your clothes and gear. Pack for a minimum of three days, just in case you have to stay an extra day due to weather or other travel delays. Bring clothes for all seasons, as well as hats, gloves, scarves and other cold weather gear. You’ll also want to bring your passport, credit card and other identification.

I recommend bringing a jacket and a sweater, as it can get chilly up there. You'll also need to bring your passport with you when you travel.

You'll need to hang out with locals

If you want to get the most out of your trip, try to spend as much time as possible with locals. They are the ones who will be able to show you the best places to go and what to do. If you're staying in a hotel, ask the staff for recommendations. You could also ask the concierge or check out a local magazine. If you're staying with friends or family, ask them what they like to do when they are in town.
